The other massive difference for me is the paddle out. When it’s big or a mess out there it is much harder (in my opinion) on a sup (if you keep getting knocked off). Timing is key to wait between the sets (but sometimes you don’t get those breaks when it’s a messy day). If it’s like that, when I’m out I won’t surf as far in – as don’t want to gey caught inside too often
